Today, we shine a spotlight on a visionary female leader in Zhejiang Mingzhen Electronics Co., Ltd. (formerly Sanmu Electromechanical), Ms. Kong Li Hua, whose relentless drive and bold spirit exemplify the strength of female leadership. Her journey is a testament to perseverance, innovation, and the impact of women in shaping the industry’s future.

As Zhejiang Mingzhen’s General Manager and Vice President of the Wenling Women Entrepreneurs Association, Ms. Kong has transformed challenges into opportunities, proving that resilience and innovation can redefine industries. She has championed the growth of Chengnan’s private enterprises by embracing a “specialized, sophisticated, and innovation-driven” business philosophy. Leading with an entrepreneurial spirit marked by boldness, creativity, and resilience, she has revolutionized management practices and inspired her team to prioritize “high efficiency and groundbreaking innovation.” Her efforts have fueled the vibrant expansion of Chengnan’s private enterprises, earning her accolades such as Taizhou’s “Outstanding Female Leader” and “Distinguished Entrepreneur in Taizhou”.

In 2001, Ms. Kong became a proud member of the Communist Party of China, dedicating herself further to her company. Under her leadership, Zhejiang Mingzhen has become a leading name in Chengnan’s private industrial economy.

Kong’s philosophy is rooted in strategic focus and global ambition:

Guided by this vision, she rallied Mingzhen’s team to achieve three consecutive years of growth despite pandemic disruptions and economic headwinds. Their resilience paid off:

Stepping Up in Times of Crisis

When the COVID-19 pandemic struck in early 2020, the world watched as China raced to build Wuhan’s Huoshenshan Hospital—a critical lifeline for patients. Amid this urgency, a Chongqing-based company faced a daunting challenge: sourcing ventilation systems for the hospital’s air purification system. These high-specification fans, previously reliant on imports, were nearly impossible to procure domestically, especially during the Chinese New Year holidays. The company turned to Zhejiang Mingzhen for help.

On January 31, Ms. Kong received this urgent order. Without hesitation, she immediately mobilized her team to reallocate inventory and resume production. Employees worked overnight to prepare the products for shipment. What would typically take over ten days was completed in just one day.

By February 3, the fan units had safely arrived in Chongqing, valued at 300,000 RMB. Later, an additional 72 fan units were sent to a designated hospital in Linyi, Shandong.

Beyond production, Kong personally donated 8,000 RMB to support pandemic relief efforts.

As the Party Secretary in Mingzhen, Ms. Kong promotes a positive and inclusive corporate culture, ensuring that employees not only strive for excellence but also enjoy a well-balanced and engaging work environment. She leads by example—driving her team to take on challenges while also cultivating a workplace culture that is both unique and enriching.

She organizes a variety of activities around key celebrations such as the Lantern Festival, International Women’s Day, and Labor Day, hosting events like riddle games, traditional food gatherings, and women’s sports competitions. She also arranges annual company trips and year-end celebrations, giving employees the opportunity to unwind, stay active, and build camaraderie. Despite her busy schedule, she always makes time to support her employees, offering guidance and encouragement whenever needed, fostering a culture of mutual growth and teamwork.

Beyond the workplace, as the Vice President of the Wenling Women Entrepreneurs Association, Ms. Kong extends her care and generosity to the society. She is deeply committed to philanthropy, engaging in charitable donations, financial assistance for families in need, and scholarships for underprivileged students—demonstrating the social responsibility of women entrepreneurs through her actions.

At the end of each year, she personally delivers essential goods and gifts to struggling families, offering them encouragement and hope. Before the school term begins, she visits underprivileged students, providing them with both financial and emotional support, ensuring they feel the warmth and care of the community. Her kindness does not go unnoticed—her unwavering dedication to the people around her has earned the deep respect and admiration of those she has helped.
